The Winning Formula
2 Weeks of holiday had passed, I'm struggling on which kind of art I want to go for in building my portfolio. Supposedly, I'd rather if they're the kind that'd sell. And no, not sex, please. In the end, instead of going for something complicated, I went for something of simpler nature. This.
At first, I kinda doubt whether this will really do it, until later when terrible events occurred. Well, though I'm not one to believe in horoscopes(both eastern/western) I do bring myself to reading them sometimes, especially when there's a really disturbing note about it. One regarding my snake sign told of how it'll be a year of suffering with insomnia(my, how deadly accurate) and relationships going downhill despite a shining success career-wise. I don't rely on it, though they are helpful to watch things out for at times. While my keen senses do feel a bad future wind coming, it all went true. And maybe for expecting something of this nature much earlier I'm not that shocked to see it actually happened. Nope, won't talk about it until it really end. If it does.
Anyways, good thing these days I never fully trust anyone. I do feel a bit troubled though, so in making myself happy comes this. Inspired by Ms. Gloria Gaynor's brilliant record; Last Night, I present both this drawing and this song to this fella we're talking about here.
It's cute and revitalized my spirit. And if something like this is capable of lifting my spirit, I doubt it won't do the same to others... Well, no harm in experimenting. And come on, everybody can appreciate cute stuffs. Especially ones they can take home for cheap. Speaking of which, I'm thinking of making these fashionistas into items. Like, badges would be nice, I'd want some myself. Along with other things. A small market would be nice for starting.
To be honest, I don't have the tendency of really loving what I draw.. Very rarely in fact. However, time has come for one of those heart winning ones with this. I'm so loving it I'm using it as my current wallpaper.
Well, off to get busy.
